ACE OR SHARK?

Well done to Mark “Sharkey” Reynolds who had a hole-in-one on the 8th in Thursday last’s open competition. Mark rifled a 5 iron straight at the pin, much to the dismay of one of his playing partners, who had a birdie 2 on the 5th and was disappointed that his efforts would go unrewarded in the two’s club! Just to prove that this good shot was not a fluke, Mark went out and won Friday’s competition with a great 38pts. Although the course was closed for a short time Saturday morning with frost, when it did open Jack Elstead had things really hotting-up with a fantastic 41pts for the 16 holes. The windy conditions on Sunday brought the scoring down somewhat, with Robert Hyde winning on 37pts.

MEMBERS GREEN FEE OFFER

The recently introduced Members Special Green Fee Offer is proving to be a big success. Members can purchase a book of ten Green Fee vouchers for just €100. The vouchers are valid for play with a member Monday to Friday, and represent great value for money. So if you want an economical way to entertain friends, family or business colleagues, or if you need to give a birthday present to a member, why not invest in a book of Green Fee vouchers.
