PRESIDENT'S PRIZE
This weekend sees our President's Prize, kindly presented by Frank Lloyd. We are delighted to have Frank as our Club President and his great sense of humour and lively banter has ensured that he is a very popular President with all the members. Frank, who originally hails from Clonmel, has been a great support to the club over the past two years of his Presidency. His former job has held him in good stead for his position and he is always very obliging to everyone he meets. Our President would be delighted to see all members and their partners attend the presentation in the Clubhouse from 8.30 pm on Sunday 15th for the presentation of prizes at 9 pm. We would like to take this opportunity to wish Frank all the very best for his weekend.

JUNIOR GOLF NOTES
Waterford prevail in South East League.
Last Monday, we took both South East League teams to West Waterford for our second match. Our Under 15 team surrendered their unbeaten run, losing 5-2. Our juniors tried hard but crucially, we lost every match that went up 18 or 19. Our Under 18 team fared slightly better losing by a margin of 4-3. Again we lost the close encounters, but the pick of the games was Sean Reynolds who birdied the 18th and 19th to win his match. This proved a useful exercise for our inexperienced team and we hope for a better result when we take on Clonmel this week with home advantage.
O'Neill takes Knocknagranagh Shield
Last Friday, Ronan O'Neill returned a marvellous 44 points to win the Knocknagranagh Shield kindly sponsored by club stalwart Mr. Maurice McHugh. In his presentation, Maurice expressed his surprise at the huge turn-out for his event. He thanked the juniors for their participation and looked forward to returning next year. Andrew Cullinane was second with 43pts and Jack Leacy reduced his handicap to 1 with a fine 70 gross.
Our beginners and Pre juniors also took to their course playing their competition over 9 holes for the first time. Marc Boland took the honours with Aaron Beresford in second.
On Wednesday Sean Daly took the honours with 45 points with Gavin Clarke winning the Pre Juniors.
Junior Captain's Prize
Next Wednesday, Junior Captain Ross Dunford presents his prize to Juniors. Ross is a popular and affable young man who has served his office with pride. His prize will be popular so book your time early. Presentation will commenced at 3pm, and absent prizewinners will forfeit their prize.
Dress Code
All juniors are reminded that a dress code exists in Dungarvan Golf Club. Copies of the code can be obtained from the office and is also listed above. This code must be adhered to at all times when using the course and clubhouse.
