OPEN SENIORS
Mondays Open Seniors was well supported last week with the 0-12 being won by Popular member Milo Guiry from Ardmore with 36.  Jim Moroney  came 2nd with 41pts and it was nice to see a lady scoop the Category 3 prize. Visitor Carmel Moloney playing off  (23) showed the fellas how its done with 38 points.

JACK ELSTEAD CONTINUES HIS RICH VEIN
Fresh from his 2nd place Captains Prize  Jack Elstead shows that there’s life in the old dog yet, taking 1st prize in last Thursdays open with a whopping 44 points. Keep up this performance Jack and you’ll have them all talking about what is the secret of your success! Yami Keane
Came 2nd with a 42 – proving that practice makes perfect.

MICHAEL POWER’S MONTHLY MEDAL TRIUMPH
With conditions improving with the astonishing appearance of the sun on Saturday, Michael Power was another member proving that there’s ‘life in the old dog’ with a very credible 68 points to win the monthly medal. A puppy compared to Michael, Gabriel Leacey came 2nd on the countback also with 68. Many thanks to our sponsors R & R Racing who’s continued support is much valued.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE  GOLD COAST
Well done to our neighbours the Gold Coast who were victorious in the Munster Final of the Jimmy Bruen.  Good luck in in Kinsale at the All-Ireland series later this year. We wish continued success to all involved.

DAILY STAR GOLF
Congratulations and well done to all our club members involved with Clancys Bar Golf Society Clonea on their reaching the all Ireland finals of the Daily Star Golf Societies tournament finals which takes place at Faithlegg Golf Club in August.

Deise College Adult & Junior Fourball. On Friday 27th July we host the second running of the Adult & Junior Fourball kindly sponsored by Mr. Alan Ryan from Deise College. On Wednesday 25th July , we have our weekly 18 holes for juniors and our 9 holes for PreJuniors and beginners. Timesheets are available on the club website.

TUITION
Coaching for our beginners and PreJuniors continues next Saturday at 3pm under the watchful eye of Club Professional and Waterford County Coach, David Hayes.
