BELVEDERE TROPHY COUNTY FINAL
Faithlegg Golf Club was the venue for this year’s county final on Tuesday 24th July. Sean Power had been getting excellent results from his panel of players to this stage. Could they produce the goods on the final day! The answer was yes. Their opposition on the evening was Waterford Golf Club. Dungarvan won the battle three matches to two. Well done to Sean and his panel who now proceed to the Munster Final in September. Sean informs me that he is unsure about managing for coming year to make it three in a row as he is expecting to be playing himself! Panel of players on occasion.
Kevin Kelly + John J. Clancy, Gerry Kirwan + Pat Cunningham, Colm Bannon + Jack Elstead, Liam Carroll + Mathew Lynch, Marin Landers + Pat Hunt, Billy Queally + Jim Quinn. Well done to all involved and not forgetting Rogie who assisted along the way.
