VALENTINES DINNER
Many Thanks to all who helped to make Saturday night such a wonderful success. The top-class meal and brilliant entertainment made it one of the best social events in the club. Well done to Tom and staff for looking after us so well, to Jim Prendergast whose nostalgic "60's" medley got an instant choral re-action from everyone, to Victor and friends for their rousing ballads and to the many talented soloists for their variety of party pieces. The long term planning and organisation for this event plus the voluntary work in and around the club-house all contributed hugely to the success of the night.
THANK YOU TO ALL CONCERNED
The Club has received a tremendous response from various members, life members, committee members and staff who have contributed financially or volunteered their time towards recent course development and clubhouse refurbishment projects. We are indeed very grateful to all concerned for their wonderful generosity.
Some of the projects, to mention a few, that have received support to date include painting the bar and restaurant, painting the ladies and gents lockers rooms, purchase of the new bar/restaurant partition doors and fitting of a new carpet in the ladies locker room.
The efforts are ongoing and the Club is delighted that many more members have pledged their support to fund other important projects such as drainage and other ongoing course and clubhouse improvements.
If any other members wish to contribute financially in any small way to an idea that you think would benefit the Club we would be delighted to hear from you. Please speak to Irene or a member of Committee.
We look forward to members continued support in the year ahead.
