Our weekly competition continues this Wednesday at 10am. Please book your tee time online or phone the Pro-Shop.  Congrats to last weeks winner, Jack Mulligan from West Waterford who shot a brilliant 40 points to take the honours from Thomas Nee.

Our Junior team of Rody Morrissey, Cal Titty, Sean O’Sullivan, Tomas Nee and Mattie Mullaney were in action last Monday at Charleville in the Munster final of the Inter Clubs.  Unfortunately, things didn’t go our way but we did brilliantly to make it to the final. Our lads represented our club with pride and can be justifiably be proud of their efforts.  We are a young team and this event was a great experience for the lads.

Another great afternoon in our Golf Club on Sunday. There were some members coming in from participating in the Annual Club Fundraising Classic and others enjoying Tom Daly’s wonderful food. The classic has been a great success again this year and gives the club an excellent income boost.

The numbers drawn on 4th August were 1, 7, 14 and 24. There was no winner of the Jackpot which increases to €5,100 next week.  We had three Match 3 winners this week – Michael Drummy, Peg Hennebry and “Tom Considine’s crew” – they each win €35 – congratulations to each of them.

The drainage project funded by the Lotto is now complete and we hope that it will add to members enjoyment over the winter months. Again, thanks to all of you who support our lotto.

The draw next week will take place on Sunday afternoon about 4:30pm. Come along and support us – all are welcome.
