Our esteemed President John Moran presented his Presidents Prize on Sunday 18th August to a packed clubhouse after a fantastic weekend of golf. Congratulations to well deserved victors David Buckley and Miriam Matthews.

John truly deserved all the high praise awarded to him by our Lady Captain Maria Kiersey in her speech. John is a proud ambassador for Dungarvan Golf Club and has worked tirelessly over the years promoting the club while being heavily involved in our Men into Golf Programme, Fun Friday Foursomes and our Club Classic to name but a few. Congratulations John on a wonderful weekend – truly deserved.

John would like to thank everyone who volunteered their time and energy over the weekend ensuring that everything went so smoothly. It was so much appreciated. Two hundred and forty-one people took part which was a fantastic tribute to John’s popularity. Thanks also to those that could not play but still supported the competition which was also greatly welcomed. Congratulations to all the prize winners on winning such beautiful prizes.
