The Lady Captains Prize, presented by Mary Power, was a huge success.  A large entry over the two days of great weather was enjoyable and memorable for all who took part.  The evening presentation on Sunday, had a Garden Party atmosphere with delicious food prepared by Tom and Chris, a big thank you to them both. A great night of Music was provided by Indigo Mood featuring our own Ria, and Sarah. Social distancing was priority and with the good weather and marquees, it was all possible.

Vice Captain Angela Murphy, spoke eloquently and sincerely about the club’s loss of one of our very popular,  former Lady Captains, Mary Flahavan. A minute silence was observed by everyone present. The untimely death of Mary, on Saturday, was a sad event for us all. Our sincere condolences to her family. Mary will alway be fondly remembered here in Dungarvan Golf Club.
