Our Lotto draws will recommence on Friday 4th June. We are delighted to get back in action and to give members an opportunity to win our current jackpot of €8,900.  We completed two draws in Lotto 3 before Covid stopped our progress.

We are still selling €90 tickets which can be purchased from our office – if you purchase now, we will ensure you get two extra draws to get the full benefit of the €90 ticket.

We will also have €2 and €5 tickets on sale from Friday 29th May.

It would be great to have a Jackpot winner – so be sure to be in to get a chance to win!

Remember that all the funds raised are used to develop our course. Some great work has been completed over recent years and more Lotto funds will be spent in the coming year to enhance your enjoyment of our excellent course. Since we returned to golf there has been consistent praise for the quality of our course and the many improvements that have taken place from Lotto funds.

We have a great new membership rate for anyone interested in joining the club. Please contact the office for further details and to request a membership application form. Email

Unfortunately a very wet and windy start to Friday morning last put paid to the return of our Fun Friday Foursomes. It was very disappointing for everyone but we will be back this Friday May 28.

This competition is ideal for anyone new to our golf club and who would like to get to know others. It is great fun and very sociable all within Covid protocol. If you would like to join us this Friday please go online and book your place. Look forward to seeing you then.

Like all other competitions this league was on hold during lockdown but is now back under the new title Winter/ Summer League. Anytime you play, return your card (front nine) regardless of score. Ladies return cards into Get into Golf box in Ladies Locker room and the box for the men is located in the Men’s Locker room. Update yourself with Conditions for league which are attached to list of teams in relevant locker rooms.

The Golf Ireland App, which provides for pre-registration and return of general play scores, has now been launched. The App can be used at players’ Home or Away Clubs. The new App allows you to enjoy the flexibility of recording scores for handicap purposes from either 9-hole or 18-hole social rounds played in accordance with the Rules of Handicapping.

You can also view your own handicap index and playing record as well as follow and communicate with friends. To download the app, simply search for “Golf Ireland” in the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and select the version with the Golf Ireland logo.

We have had a number of enquiries regarding handicaps. If you haven’t already done so you must register on the Golf Ireland website for your new handicap under the World Handicap System (WHS). Click on ‘My Golf Login’ and sign in. You will need your 8 Digit Golf Ireland number and pin, both can be found on your club card. You will then get your Handicap Index and can look up your Course playing handicap. You can also download the Golf Ireland App which will enable you to check your handicap for any course you play.
