Last Friday saw the return of this fun event after a break for our very successful classic. We had a great turnout and the sun shone down on us. We are delighted to run this event each Friday morning and to welcome so many of our members to some social golf.

First: Pat Crowley and Ellen Power, Second: Michael Gildea and Margaret Seiffert

Third: Ned Morrissey and Mary Ashe. We are back again this Friday (Oct 8) so why not go online and book your place.

Because of COVID the time frame for this league had to be extended over the summer months. It has proven a great asset to our Get into Golf participants as it encourages them to play nine holes of golf regularly and thus improve their game. It was closely fought with two teams forging ahead towards the final count down.

Winners: Roisin Briggs, Breid Scanlon and Phyllis Davis

Runners-up: Pat McCarthy, Pat Crowley, Mary Ryan and Mary Ashe

Well done to all the participants. A special thanks to Anne Hennebry and Marcella Mc Govern for setting up the League and for managing the whole process.
