Very damp conditions on Wednesday 2nd March caused a number of players to drop off the timesheet. Despite this we had a good number of hardy golfers who ignored the tough going and produced good scores.

The winners were: 1st Charlie Daly 18pts, 2nd Maurice Crotty 18pts

A date for your diary – our first outing of 2022 will be to Dundrum Golf Club on Wednesday 30th March. Timesheet will be available two week before. If you wish to play in our society please book on the timesheet. New members are always welcome to join.

Last Friday morning we had the biggest entry so far in this fun competition. It makes it really worthwhile when so many come for this social event. We had our regular supporters and many others who we hadn’t seen for some time. The scoring was very close.
First: Louise Moloney and Lucy Frost 36 1/4
Second:  Jim O’ Mahony and Peter Moloney 36 3/4
Third: Pat Crowley and Phyllis Davis 37 1/4
We are back again this Friday Mar 11. If you would like some social golf and some fun, please go online and book your place. We would love to see you join us.

110yd Competition – Last Sunday we held this very popular competition for our Get into Golf ladies. Conditions were ideal as the sun shone brightly. A huge thanks to our Lady Captain June James, Vice Captain Una O’ Connell, Anne Heneberry and Marianne Mulcahy for helping to run the competition. The turnout was the biggest so far so we needed all the help. This group of Get into Golf ladies are very competitive and the scoring was very close.
First: Linda Bradfield (20)
Second: Lucy Frost (22)
Third: Jacqueline Manning (23)
The next event is the Captains drive- in on Thurs Mar 17 followed by a social scramble. Please honour our Captains and go online and book your place. This is always a fun event.

We had our weekly Lotto 3 draw today, 4th March. This was Wk.42 of 52.

We continue to have a fantastic response to the Online Lotto facility. This is a link to our Online Lotto.
