We were so happy to see so many enter our first Sunday Social Scramble. We intend to hold one every fortnight going forward, keep an eye on the timesheet and book your place.

Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday evening, 7th March at 7.30pm in the clubhouse. The meeting will be preceded by mass for deceased members at 7pm.

We hold two Open competitions each week at present. On Mondays our popular Open Seniors Gents/Ladies competition (age over 50+) and on Thursdays our Open Gents competition. Both are 14 hole competitions until we move to 18H competitions in March. Visitors are very welcome and can book in online

We had a beautiful day for our Wednesday the 8th of February. The sunny weather brought a huge crowd and we had an overflowing timesheet. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us in the coming months so as to keep our members interest in golf at a high level. We are delighted to have another new member Tom Power joining our society this week.

We were delighted to welcome everyone last Friday on a beautiful Spring morning. It was lovely to see Liz Kelly and Aisling Horgan return to the fairways after the Winter and they were ‘on form’.

We had our weekly Lotto 4 draw on Friday, 10th February. This was Week 39 of 52.
The numbers drawn were 8, 16, 22 and 25. The jackpot was €10,000 and there was no winner. The jackpot remains at €10,000 for the next draw. We had one Match 3 winning ticket. Mary Crotty wins €100.

We had a great turnout for our Poker Classic which was held on Sunday night. Congratulations to Seamus O’Neill who won the classic! 2nd Paul and 3rd Nicky Cowman. Our next Poker Classic will be held on Sunday 12th March. All are welcome.
