Get into Golf 2023
Our new Get into Golf programme begins in May with an information meeting for both men and women on Tuesday 2^nd of May in Dungarvan Golf Club at 7pm. If you think you would like to be part of the programme why not come along and find out all the details. As places are filling up rapidly for this year’s programme you can contact the office to secure a place.

HOLE IN ONE

Congratulations to George Walsh who had a hole in one on the eighth hole on Thursday 13th April. A real class shot as we would expect from George. He played with Tom Conway, Hugh O’Carroll and Dermott Kelly – rumour has it that he will be giving them lessons over the coming weeks to see if he can raise their game to his own level!

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP 2023

Our Junior Membership year commences from 1st April. If your child would like to join as a junior member, please contact the office as we have great joining rates of €70 for ages 6 – 12 and €100 for ages 13 -18 (plus €7 Golf Ireland Levy).

Our popular weekly Saturday lessons for juniors will recommence on Saturday 22nd April at 3pm. These group lessons with our PRO David Hayes are great fun and our Juniors learn so much each week.

Once again we had a large group for our social scramble last Sunday.

We had no competition on Wednesday 12^th due to the bad weather. Our next competition is on Wednesday 19^th April from 11.30am – 1pm.

We had no 60.com competition on Wednesday 12th April due to poor weather conditions. We will be back as usual next Wednesday.

FUN FRIDAY FOURSOMES

We had a beautiful morning for our foursomes last Friday and the course was in amazing condition. Now that we are approaching better weather and conditions, we hope to see many more golfers join us on Friday mornings. It is a great social event and great fun.

Refresher Lessons for Get into Golf ladies 2021/ 2022
A special series of lessons started on Tuesday evening with our PGA Professional David Hayes and will continue for two more weeks. They are a great opportunity for our new golfers to improve their golf before the Summer season begins.

LOTTO RESULTS

We held our weekly lotto draw on Friday 14th April.  The Numbers drawn were 1, 8, 21 and 25.  We had no winner of our 10,000 euro jackpot. There were two match 3 winners. John Considine and Tom Conway & George Walsh & Hugh O Carroll & Dermott Kelly each win €50.
