JUNIOR NEWS
Commiserations to our Fred Daly team who suffered a narrow defeat against Tramore last Friday. The match was played in great spirits and saw Tramore shade a tough contest. Our boys are in action again next Sunday when we take on Waterford Castle in the Irish Junior Foursomes. We wish them the best of luck.
Our popular weekly Saturday lessons for juniors returned last Saturday and we had a fantastic turnout. These group lessons with our PRO David Hayes are great fun and our Juniors learn so much each week. Our lessons take place every Saturday at 3pm. All are welcome.
MIXED FOURSOMES
On Saturday 15th April at 8.20pm, on a bitterly cold afternoon and after an epic battle, Waterford Castle nudged past Dungarvan Golf club in the Mixed Foursomes. It was a closely fought match. Well done to all the players who played their hearts out and to all the supporters who stayed to the very end. Everyone retired to the Clubhouse and enjoyed Tom’s wonderful food. There are still opportunities to join a team. Check the notice boards and put your name down, you won’t regret it, it is brilliant fun!
