SYMPATHIES
Our friend Michael Kelleher passed away on Wednesday 3rd May. Michael has been a member of our club for almost 50 years. During that time, he served on the men’s committee, sponsored club events and played in many interclub matches.
However, it was his presence in the clubhouse that will be our greatest loss. Michael was a big personality who talked, laughed and brought great joy to all who had the pleasure of meeting him.
He had a great love for our club and enjoyed playing social golf with his many friends in the evenings – this was more important to him than any Ryder Cup and he would be quick to let you know how each player performed. He was also a great card player and took part in the weekly progressive 45 each Thursday night.
Michael will be sadly missed by all our members but especially his long-time friend Tom Melody. They shared many cups of coffees while discussing golf, GAA and general local news. We extend our sympathy to Niall, Orlagh & extended Kelleher family at this sad time. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.
We extend our sincerest sympathies to club member George Walsh on the sudden passing of his wife Dorothy. Our thoughts are with George and all his family at this very sad time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
We extend our sincere condolences to club member Michael Fitzgerald on the recent passing of his brother Tom. May he rest in peace.
We offer our sympathies to club member Patsy Horsom on the recent passing of his nephew Gary Donnelly. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam
