We have an excellent Pro Shop for all your equipment needs, our PGA Professional David Hayes who along with giving great golf advice gives lessons to beginners and seasoned golfers. We have a range of competitions and casual golf options for all types of golfers.
We have a beautiful bar and restaurant where Tom and his team serve delicious breakfasts, lunches and evening meals daily. We have plenty of social events throughout the year and also weekly bridge, cards and poker nights along with book clubs, day trips and visits to other golf courses. Our friendly club is very welcoming to new members and is a great way to meet people. MENS SPRING LEAGUE
The Spring League will commence on Thursday 1st February. The format is teams of six persons self -selected, nominate your own captains and play on competition days (Monday/Thursday/Saturday & Sunday) by entering those competitions. For the duration of the 2024 Spring League the Monday Men’s comp will be open to all ages. (From 1st Feb to 17th March). This is to have more competition days available.
If you want to enter and don’t have a full team, we can organise a team for you. Entries can be made on the notice board in the Men’s locker room. Each player’s six best cards to count over the 21 competition days. The qualifying competition will run until Sunday 17th March. The final will be played between the top two teams between the 18th – 31st March inclusive. The final will be Matchplay. Captain of the team will nominate the order of their team and the best score of the pairings will apply.
LADIES SPRING LEAGUE
The Spring League has begun. This is a 9-hole singles competition where your best 2 cards will count each month from January until end of March. The more you play, the better chance of getting those 2 great scores. Further details on the noticeboard in the locker room. Good luck to all the participants.

YOUNGONES
Our course was closed due to frost last week so we had no Youngones competition. We are back on Wednesday 24th with tee times open online.
60.COM
The weather caused us to cancel the 60.com competition on Wednesday 17th January. It has been a miserable spell of weather with both rain and frost affecting our ongoing golf. Hopefully we will be back next week. If you’re interested in social golf, and there are over 60 years of age, put your name on the timesheet any Wednesday and join us.
FUN FRIDAY FOURSOMESLast Friday was bright and sunny but unfortunately heavy frost caused our course to be closed. It was disappointing as our timesheet was very busy. Hopefully this Friday will see our foursomes back on the fairways again. If you would like to play nine holes of Scotch Foursomes why not join us.SUNDAY SOCIAL SCRAMBLEStorm Isha caused us to cancel our social scramble as it swept over the country last Sunday. However, booking has opened for our next scramble scheduled for Sunday Feb 4th. These scrambles are great fun and an ideal way to spend your Sunday afternoon. We would love to see you there.

LOTTO RESULTS
We had our weekly Lotto 5 draw on Friday, 19th January. This was Week 36 of 52. The numbers drawn were 5, 11, 12 and 19. The jackpot was €5,700, and there was no winner. The jackpot is €5,800 for the next draw. We had one match 3 winners – Mary Ashe – who wins €100.
