We have a great new member rate for 2026 – join us for €460 (+ €30 Golf Ireland fee). Dungarvan Golf Club has lots to offer everyone. We have an excellent Pro Shop for all your equipment needs, our PGA Professional David Hayes who along with giving great golf advice gives lessons to beginners and seasoned golfers. We have a range of competitions and casual golf options for all types of golfers.

Our beautiful bar and restaurant are very popular where Tom and his team serve delicious breakfasts, lunches and evening meals daily.  We have plenty of social events throughout the year and also weekly bridge, cards, book clubs, knitting clubs, day trips and visits to other golf courses. SAMARITANS FUNDRAISING SCRAMBLE

The Young Ones and 60. com had a joint fundraiser for the Samaritans last Wednesday 19^th November. Marianne Mulcahy and her team did a wonderful job in organizing the event. There was great credit due to our club members who played, supported and donated to the event. Overall, the fundraiser was a tremendous success.

MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION INVOICES

Over the coming weeks the office will be emailing invoices to all members for 2026 Membership Subscriptions (excluding Juniors/Pre Juniors). Subscriptions can be paid in full or spread out over 10 months via the Membership section on your BRS Golf.

Subscriptions to be paid in full or a BRS payment plan set up by 31st January 2025 please.

Payments can also be taken in the office or over the phone.

SUNDAY SOCIAL SCRAMBLE

We had a great turnout last Sunday for our scramble including a number of juveniles. It is lovely to see a great mix of members participating including our PGA Professional David Hayes. GET INTO GOLF 2025
It is coming to ‘make your mind up time’ for our new golfers. Year one will begin for them in January. Judging by their enthusiasm and participation we are confident that they will all move forward. Congratulations to Tereza Cyprianova who won her section in the ladies eleven-hole competition at the weekend with a great score of 23pts.

LIONS CLUB FUNDRAISER

All proceeds from the weekend competitions on Friday 5^th, Saturday 6^th and Sunday 7^th December will go to the annual Dungarvan Lions Club fundraiser. We appeal to all members to come out and support this very important fundraiser. If you are not available to play, we will have donation buckets in the clubhouse all week. Thank you for supporting.

CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEAS

Our Club Gift Vouchers can be used by members against their membership subscription and competition purse.  Annual Lotto tickets €90, Dungarvan Golf Triangle tickets €90 or give the gift of Membership (Country, Junior, Distance).  Vouchers can also be used in our Bar/Restaurant.

FUN FRIDAY FOURSOMES
The course was closed until 10am last Friday morning due to heavy frost. Once again, we had no Fun Friday Foursomes. We hope to be back this Friday weather permitting.
We play nine holes of Scotch Foursomes. Shotgun start at 9 am. It is a social event and we are finished in time for morning coffee in the clubhouse. All are welcome.

JUNIOR/PRE JUNIOR COMPETITION

Our next Junior and Pre Junior competition is on Sunday 21^st December. The format is Ryder Cup and our team captains are Rory McKeown & Donnchadh Callaghan. The timesheet is open for bookings and we encourage our Pre Junior and Junior Members to book in. It is a 9H competition – shotgun start at 2pm. Entry is €10 which includes food after golf.

SOCIETY OFFER 2026

Book your 2026 society with us before the end of December 2025 and you will receive our 2025 green fee rate, dozen crested Dungarvan Golf Club golf balls and four greenfees to use as prizes. This offer applies midweek and weekends for groups of 16 or more golfers. Call the office or email us for your preferred date.

LOTTO

We had our weekly Lotto Draw on Friday 21^st. The numbers drawn were 8, 9, 14 and 27. The jackpot was €3,100, and there was no winner. The jackpot is €3,200 for the next draw. We had three match 3 winners – Peggy Walsh & Ann Navin, Noel Hackett and Rogie O Connor – who win €34 each. All funds are directed to course improvement projects All funds go towards our course development projects. Lotto tickets can be purchased on our website or in the clubhouse.

Resident Professional David has all the latest offerings from the major brands including the Qi35 from TaylorMade, M Craft putters from Mizuno and much more. As always David offers professional advice so ensure you get the most out of your game.

BRIDGE
