SPRING CLASSIC

The timesheet is filling up for our Open Spring Classic, taking place from Thursday 14^th to Sunday 17^th May. Entry is €25 per person, with re-entry just €15, and there are great prizes to be won. Please support our classic and spread the word by sharing with friends.

OPEN LADIES TEAM OF 2

SOUTH MUNSTER SENIORS

We welcome the South Munster Seniors this Wednesday, May 6^th. The timesheet is fully booked! This marks the first of three outings for the year.

JB CARR MATCH

Our JB Carr team take on Tramore in Tramore GC on Tuesday, 5th May with the first match teeing off at 3pm. All support welcome.

MINOR FOURSOMES

JUNIOR GOLF NEWS

This Saturday 9^th May we have a large private function taking place in the clubhouse at the same time as our Junior Lessons, so parking will be very limited. We kindly ask parents to use a drop-and-go system, when arriving/returning to collect, in order to help things run smoothly. Thanks so much for your cooperation, we really appreciate it.

Special thank you to all our volunteers who assisted PRO David Hayes with golf lessons on Saturday. Lessons take place every Saturday (weather permitting) and are €5. 60. COM

We had a busy week for our 60. com members last week. On Tuesday 28 April we went to New Ross Golf Club for our first outing of 2026. We had a great day with their course being in excellent shape and the general conditions being suitable for our guys. The results were: 1^st Tom Power 38pts, 2^nd Rogie O’Connor 37pts, 3^rd Dermot Graham 37pts, 4^th Tom Lyons 36pts, 5^th Nial Herlihy 34pts.

On Wednesday 29 April we had our normal 60. com competition in Dungarvan. Again, we had a lovely day with the course in great condition. The winners were 1^st Jack Elstead 19pts, 2^nd Pat McCarthy 18pts, 3^rd Rogie O’Connor 17pts. If you’re interested in social golf, and are over 60 years of age, then join us any Wednesday by putting your name on our timesheet.

YOUNGONES

 We had a beautiful sunny day for our Youngones competition on Wed 29^th April. 1^st Mary Ryan (43) 21pts, 2^nd Carol Walsh (43) 16pts. Our next competition is on 6^th May.

FUN FRIDAY FOURSOMES
Friday mornings are very popular for social golf. We play nine holes of Scotch Foursomes and we play the back nine holes. We are in then just in time for morning coffee in the clubhouse. We are indebted to Tom and his staff in the bar for the hospitality. Results from Friday 1^st May: 1^st Paul Vart and Sarah Younge 33 ½, 2^nd Kevin O’ Morochoe and Ellen Power 40 ½,
3^rd Adrian O’Driscoll and Geraldine Veale 42 ¼. We are back again this Friday morning (May 8). Shotgun start at 9am.

SUNDAY SOCIAL SCRAMBLE

Our next social scramble is scheduled for this Sunday May 10.  Shotgun start at 4.30 pm.
These scrambles are open to all members including juveniles. They are great fun and an ideal opportunity to meet other members. Timesheet is open so if you are free this Sunday afternoon just go online and book your place. All are welcome.

LOTTO

We had our weekly Lotto Draw on Friday 1^st May. The numbers drawn were 16, 17, 22 and 24. The jackpot was €5,400, and there was no winner. The jackpot is €5,500 for the next draw. There was no match 3 winners this week. All funds go towards our course development projects. Lotto tickets can be purchased on our website or in the clubhouse.
