TOM DALYS RETIREMENT PARTY

What a wonderful celebration we had for Tom Daly’s retirement on Sunday night!  The bar was packed, and it was fantastic to see so many members, friends and staff come along to congratulate Tom on almost 30 years of service to the club. Club President David Crowley officiated on the night with members and staff speaking warmly about Tom’s commitment, dedication and the huge contribution he has made to the club over the years. Tom spoke fondly about his many years at the club, describing it as his “home away from home”. He entertained everyone with stories from his time here, delivered with his usual wit and sense of humour. Padraic Di Fusco and his band kept everyone entertained with some great music, and Tom even took to the microphone himself to sing a few tunes!

Tom has just two weeks remaining before he officially retires, so we encourage everyone to come along, enjoy a meal at the club and take the opportunity to wish Tom all the very best for his retirement.

TOM DALY SCRAMBLE

Tom’s retirement scramble on Sunday was fully booked and everyone enjoyed great course conditions and weather. Thank you to all members who played on the day and to everyone who has dropped in a contribution for Toms retirement.

Congratulations to all the winners.
