Dungarvan Golf Club provides a welcoming and vibrant environment for golfers of all levels. Our well-stocked Pro Shop caters to all equipment needs, and our PGA Professional, David Hayes, is on hand to offer expert guidance, lessons, and support for both beginners and experienced players. Members can enjoy a wide range of competitions as well as casual golf tailored to every type of golfer. Our bar and restaurant serve delicious breakfasts, lunches, and evening meals daily, making it a favourite gathering place within the club.

Beyond golf, we host a rich calendar of social activities, including weekly bridge, cards, book clubs, knitting groups, day trips, and visits to other golf courses. MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTIONS 2026

Our Membership Renewal Invoices have gone out to all members by email and can be viewed on your BRS account. We encourage members to pay in full or set up a payment plan using our BRS Memberships system. Thank you to all members who have paid to date. Please contact the office if you require assistance or if you had difficulty receiving the email.

AGM – LADIES CLUB

The Annual General meeting of the Ladies Club will be held on Wednesday 21^st January at 7pm in the clubhouse. The minutes were sent out by email in December along with the agenda. We hope to see you there.

AGM – MENS CLUB

The Annual General meeting of the Men’s Club will be held on Wednesday 28^th January at 7.30pm in the clubhouse. Motions for the AGM should be submitted on or before the 14th January.

SUNDAY SOCIAL SCRAMBLE
This Sunday (Jan 18) we run our New Years Social Scramble. This scramble is open to all members including juveniles. If you haven’t been playing much golf since Christmas this might be the way to get back out on the fairways and have fun.
Timesheet is open, so go online and book your place. Refreshments will be served in the bar later.

LADIES SPRING LEAGUE 2026

Our Ladies Spring League is starting soon and it is open to every lady who has a handicap. Entry is €15 and it runs for 6 weeks only from Monday Feb 2^nd to Sunday March 15^th. The spring league is a great way to improve your golf, be part of a team and get to know new people. Please add your name to the list in the ladies locker room before 26^th January. Teams will be chosen by the ladies committee as fairly as possible after this date. More details on the Spring League are displayed in the locker room

FUN FRIDAY FOURSOMES

Frost and frozen greens put paid once again to the foursomes last week. Nevertheless, we will be back and hopefully this Friday (Jan 16) will be the day. We play 9 holes of Scotch Foursomes with a shotgun start at 9 am. We finish in time for morning coffee in the clubhouse. It is a social event and an ideal way to meet others in the club. All are welcome.

GOLF LESSONS IN TINHALLA DRIVING RANGE
To support and improve our Get into Golf participants David Hayes will run lessons for them at the driving range in Tinhalla. These lessons were hugely popular and successful last year. Demand is keen now and places are filling very quickly.

60. COM

We were fortunate that the cold weather had disappeared for our 60.com on Wednesday 7 Jan. We had a full timesheet and some excellent scores.

YOUNGONES

Our first competition of the year was last Wednesday 7^th January. Congrats to 1^st June James (21) 17pts and 2^nd Patricia Butler (27) 14pts. The timesheet is filling up for our competition this week!

LOTTO

We had our weekly Lotto Draw on Friday 9^th January 2026. The numbers drawn were 3, 22, 27 and 28. The jackpot was €3,800, and there was no winner. The jackpot is €3,900 for the next draw. We had four match three winners – Declan Walsh & friends, Jim O Mahony & friends, Tony Frizelle and Peter Flynn – who win €25 each. All funds go towards our course development projects. Lotto tickets can be purchased on our website or in the clubhouse.

SOCIETY BOOKINGS

Our Society special offer was a great success with lots of groups booked in for 2026. We have great rates for 2026 especially for large groups. Full catering available breakfast, lunch and evening meals, always a hit with visitors to our club. Give the office a call today or email us with your preferred date.
