SUNDAY SOCIAL SCRAMBLEOur next Social Scramble is scheduled for Sunday Feb 15. Shotgun start at 2.30 pm.These scrambles are open to all members including juveniles. They are very sociable events and a lovely way to spend your Sunday evening if you are free. Please enter your name on the timesheet between 1 o clock and 2.20 pm to secure your place. Please note that the timesheet closes on Saturday Feb 14 at 5 pm to facilitate the draw.
GOLF LESSONS IN TINHALLA DRIVING RANGEDavid Hayes our PGA professional will be running golf lessons in Tinhalla driving range starting on Monday Feb 9. They will run for four consecutive weeks starting at 7 pm until 8 pm. These lessons were hugely popular last year and consequently there is a waiting list in operation this year. They are an ideal way to get your golf back in action for the coming season.
GET INTO GOLF 2026Presently we are going through our waiting list to ascertain how many ladies are available to participate in our Get into Golf programme this Summer! We are really lucky to have our PGA Professional David Hayes who is so supportive of the programme and also, we have a very hardworking Get Into Golf committee who work tirelessly to ensure the success of the programme. We also have a list of names of men interested in our upcoming Get into golf programme who will be contacted in due course.
LADIES SPRING LEAGUE 2026
Our Spring League is delayed due to poor weather. It is open to every lady who hasa handicap. Entry is €15 and it runs for 6 weeks only from Monday Feb 9th to Sunday March 22nd. The spring league is a great way to improve your golf, be part of a team and get to know new people. More details on the Spring League are displayed in the locker room.

Beyond golf, we host a rich calendar of social activities, including weekly bridge, cards, book clubs, knitting groups, day trips, and visits to other golf courses. FUN FRIDAY FOURSOMES.The foursomes take place each Friday morning. Shotgun start at 9am. We play nine holes of Scotch Foursomes and we play the back nine holes. It is a social event and an ideal way to meet other club members. We finish just in time for morning coffee in the clubhouse. All are welcome60. COM
The weather in January has been hugely disruptive to the 60.com Wednesday competitions. Again, on Wednesday the 28 January we had no competition. Hopefully we’ll be back this week.
YOUNGONES
We had no competition last week due to poor weather, hopefully things improve soon!
LOTTO
We had our weekly Lotto Draw on Friday 30th January. The numbers drawn were 8, 17, 21 and 27. The jackpot was €4,100, and there was no winner. The jackpot is €4,200 for the next draw. We had four match three winners – Joan Phelan, Sean Norris, Garry Kennedy and Damien Walsh – who win €25 each. All funds go towards our course development projects. Lotto tickets can be purchased on our website or in the clubhouse.
SOCIETY BOOKINGS
We have great rates for 2026 especially for large groups. Full catering available breakfast, lunch and evening meals, always a hit with visitors to our club. Give the office a call today or email us with your preferred date.

All are welcome to play bridge every Friday at 11am in our clubhouse.

The Dungarvan Golf Triangle is excellent value for money, €90 to play our three local courses. We are busy taking bookings for 2026. To secure your preferred dates please call us on 058-43310 and we can take care of course reservations.
