LIFT PROJECT

We are delighted to share that our much-anticipated lift project is officially underway. John Regan Construction have begun work in the hall and on the landing. While the project is in progress, the main office has moved to the competition office. Parts of the lobby and landing areas will be cordoned off, so please bear with us if access is a little disrupted. This important project simply wouldn’t have happened without the incredible fundraising efforts of our members, thank you for your continued support. We’ll keep you updated as work progresses.

PARENT CLUB AGM

The Parent Club AGM will be held on Wednesday 25th February 2026 at 7.30pm.
Please note that nominations for the Management Committee and Motions must be submitted by Wednesday 11th February 2026.

GET INTO GOLF 2026
We are overwhelmed with the interest in our Get into Golf programme for 2026. We are over-subscribed and are presently forming a list for 2027. The programme will start in April under the guidance of our PGA Professional David Hayes. We are looking forward to working with our new golfers.

VALENTINES DAY

We have a special Valentine’s Day Menu available this Saturday night along with our á la carte menu. Please contact the restaurant to book a table. We look forward to welcoming you!

SUNDAY SOCIAL SCRAMBLE
Our next Social Scramble is scheduled for next Sunday Feb 15. Shotgun start at 2.30pm. The scrambles are open to all members including juveniles. They are very sociable events and a lovely way to spend your Sunday afternoon if you are free. Simply enter your name on the timesheet between 1 pm and 2.20 pm to secure your place. Please note that the timesheet closes at 5 pm on Saturday evening to facilitate the draw.

GOLF LESSONS IN TINHALLA DRIVING RANGE
Following on from the success of these lessons last year, David Hayes our PGA professional has started his programme in Tinhalla for 2026. There are two sessions each week- one on Monday evening for the ladies and the other on Wednesday evening for the men. Reports are very positive with everyone getting into form for the season ahead. Lessons continue for four consecutive weeks.

LADIES SPRING LEAGUE 2026

Spring League teams have now been decided. Please check the notice board in the Ladies’ Locker Room. A reminder that payment must be made before you play. The cost is €15 per person. Please place the correct amount in an envelope with your name clearly written on it and put it into the payments box located underneath the computer in the Ladies’ Locker Room. We play nine holes of Scotch Foursomes and we play the back nine holes. It is a social event and an ideal way to meet other club members. We finish just in time for morning coffee in the clubhouse. All are welcome.

The continuing wet weather caused us to cancel the 60. com on Wednesday 4^th Feb. Hopefully we will be back this week. Fingers crossed!!

YOUNGONES

Due to poor weather, no competition was held last week. Let’s hope for brighter skies soon so we can get back on the course!

LOTTO

We had our weekly Lotto Draw on Friday 6^th Feb. The numbers drawn were 7, 11, 18 and 28. The jackpot was €4,200, and there was no winner. The jackpot is €4,300 for the next draw. We had two match three winners – Majella Dwane and Ger Darcy – who win €50 each.

All funds go towards our course development projects. Lotto tickets can be purchased on our website or in the clubhouse.

We have limited weekend dates available this summer for golf societies, with excellent midweek rates also on offer. Enjoy full catering with breakfast, lunch, and evening meals available — always a hit with visiting groups. To secure your preferred date, call the office today or email us to enquire.
